Areas of Expertise

Anxiety

Do you feel overwhelmed? Has your life gotten out of control? Are you having difficulty starting a task and seeing it through to completion? Are you irritable, anxious, suffering from stomach issues or headaches?  Therapy can help you learn better ways to handle these uncomfortable feelings and calm your anxiety.

Depression

Do you feel as though it is difficult to get through your day doing the things that used to make you happy? Is life overwhelming you? The best thing you can do for yourself is discuss these sad, often paralyzing feelings with a therapist. Finding someone who will be objective and help you deal with these tough emotions is important for your health.

Relationships

Relationships are hard work and the stresses of everyday responsibilities can put a lot of pressure on couples, families, parents and grandparents. Therapy can help you and your family members reconnect. You will learn  ways to rekindle the love, kindness, respect and humor we all need to get along. We can work together in a safe environment to manage your anger and stress to achieve this goal.

Life Changes

Everyone goes through challenging situations in their life. Although you may have been able to handle your problems in the past, sometimes new scenarios arise that are confusing and you just need a fresh pair of eyes to help you see things more clearly. Therapy is especially effective for clients like you because you have a lot of self awareness. A few productive sessions may be all it takes to successfully handle the present difficulties you are facing and move on with new tools to support you in the future.

Grief

Have you recently lost a significant person in your life? Or  suffered the loss of a job, or your marriage through death or divorce? Or maybe you have had to move to a new location away from family and close friends.  All these situations can involve grief. Therapy with a grief therapist can help you feel more centered as you navigate through these traumatic upheavals. With therapy, you can discover new ways to handle the many changes you are facing so your days are easier to manage.

 Holistic Therapy Past Life Regression

Past Life Regression Therapy

In addition to several traditional forms of counseling I have training in a nontraditional (holistic) technique as well. I completed the professional training course in Past Life Regression Therapy, from Dr. Brian Weiss and Carole Weiss.

I utilize this holistic method for clients who believe that something in their past might relate to where they are now and they want to delve further into this area of exploration.

I also have clients that choose one or two past life regression sessions for their own spiritual development. It can be very freeing and help explain their purpose as an evolving soul.

Hypnosis, the main technique used to help patients access past life memories, is a state of focused concentration. You often experience this throughout your day. When you get absorbed in a good book or watching television or even driving and suddenly you are home, also known as automatic pilot, you have entered a hypnotic state.

The goal of hypnosis is to access the subconscious. It is in this place that we experience flashes of insight, creativity, intuition and a deeper level of awareness. In past life therapy you are not asleep, you are very aware and are observing yourself and your surroundings.

You can emerge from this state at any time, and you are always in complete control. There is no danger to you in hypnosis. When I

guide you to reach deeper levels of focused concentration you find yourself in a relaxed state of awareness and deep emotional healing can be achieved.

Clients curious about what a past life reveals about their present life often find inspiration and understanding in this experience. Answers they have been seeking that surface during the past life regression session can

create a sense of balance and harmony.
